The South Central Lady Cougar softball team will be partnering with the Salem Lady Wildcat softball team to raise money for an all-inclusive playground. This playground will be especially for those children with handicaps but it will be available to all children. The game between the two teams on Friday April 27th will be the fundraiser game. This game will also serve as a hit-a-thon with players getting pledges for the hits that our team gets. If you would like to make a donation per hit or any donation, please talk to any softball player or Mr. Kapper. Let’s join in as a school and show that we can step up for a great cause.

Tomorrow is Hat Day with all proceeds going to the all-inclusive playground.  Please pay $1 in the office after 8 a.m.

There is a sign up sheet in the office for the 2018-2019 cheerleading tryouts.  Tryouts will be the week of May 7 and there will be 2 practices prior to tryouts.  More information to follow.

Playground

The South Central Lady Cougars softball game at Salem on Friday, April 27 will be a fundraiser to help raise money for the development and construction of an all-inclusive playground that will be located in Bryan Memorial Park in Salem.

To help raise money, our team, as well as the Salem High School softball team, will be participating in a hit-a-thon for the hits our own team gets in the game.  You can pledge an amount per team hit we get or make a straight monetary donation.  Any amount that is raised will be appreciated.

This fundraiser is an opportunity for our team to help raise money for something that will benefit our communities and the area.  You can contact any softball player or Coach Kapper to donate or donations may be left at the South Central High School office.  If you have any questions please contact Coach Kapper at 618-245-2222 ext 116.
