The South Central Elementary School in Kinmundy is a Spotlight School for the fifth year in a row. Building Principal Kerry Herdes says the award is a tribute to the hard work of the staff, parents and students. He notes the great thing about the elementary school is how the entire staff truly works together as a team to keep improving so the children can be successful. Herdes says they hope to be providing a good foundation, as it will provide students with tools needed for future school successes.
