The South Central Music Department received $5,057.46 to purchase new student instruments! Thanks to all the generous supporters, the South Central music department raised $2,557.46 in a GoFundMe account set up by Modern Woodmen. Then, Modern Woodmen matched $2,500. This was their "Giving Tuesday Fundraiser!" The Modern Woodmen Salem Regional Office staff came and presented their matching funds to Mrs. Schukar and Mr. Lother on December 17, 2024. They are both very grateful for the donation to our school's music department! The band students are so excited to be able to purchase new instruments!
We would like to say "THANK YOU" to everyone who donated to the GoFundMe account. Our school and community raised the most money out of nine Modern Woodmen regions! The music department, band and choir students, staff, and students are very appreciative of our community and the Modern Woodmen Salem Regional Office for their support in helping them receive over $5,000!
