South Central CUSD 401 Board Actions

February 2025

• The Board approved the minutes, bills, and treasurer’s report.

• The Board approved Graduation dates were set as May 15, 2025 for 8th Grade 7 p.m. and May 18, 2025 2 p.m. for High School.

• The Board approved an interfund loan payment for $90,325 between funds.

•  The Board approved the Patoka co-op agreement for High School track for the 25-26, 26-27 school year.

• The Board approved supporting Vision 2030 in conjunction with the Illinois Association of School Boards and many other groups that support education for Illinois students.

• The Board approved a prior purchase of a 2013 Chevy Truck and a 2023 Chrysler Pacifica.

• The Board approved a field trip for FBLA State Conference to Springfield, IL. for 3/28/25-3/29/25.

• The Board hired Sydney Schoonover as a certified employee for High School ELA for the 2025-2026 school year.

• The Board approved Erin Engel as a volunteer middle school assistant track coach for the 2024-2025 school year.
