Mrs. Kramer’s Kindergarten Class had so much fun celebrating 100th Day!!!




Did you know that the 100th day of school is a 5th graders 1000th day? Mrs. Lother’s math class celebrated by taking a virtual trip about 1000 miles away to Disney World!

3rd-5th Grade Teams competed against other schools in Brain Games Competitions this week at Field School in Texico! 5th grade placed 5th place and will go on to compete again in April! Great job to all the students that competed and did a great job representing our school!

Due to the forecasted inclement weather coming in tonight into tomorrow morning, South Central School District will be taking a remote Learning Day tomorrow Wednesday 1/25/23.

Mrs. O’Leary’s 5th grade reading classes worked together to create Idiom Posters! Students had to pick an idiom and then draw a picture of the figurative and literal meaning.

National Trail Boys Tournament Changes


Due to potential weather late Tuesday into Wednesday, our first round NTC tournament game at Altamont has been moved from Wednesday, 1/25 to Tuesday, 1/24 vs North Clay. Game time is 7pm tomorrow.

Mrs. Kramer’s Kindergarten Class enjoyed getting to pick out a book from the “Books for Kids” Program!
Every student in the elementary building gets to choose one free book every month to help build their own personal library at home!




South Central High School Prom will be on April 29 at South Central High School. Coronation and Grand March will be at 7:00 pm and the dance will be from 8:00 to 11:00.

Lady Cougars defeat Dieterich tonight in the NTC Tourney 58-54. The Lady Cougars play at 5:30 tomorrow evening in Beecher City vs CHBC.

Cougar basketball tonight vs Neoga will be streamed on Wabash tonight
