Graduation Plans
We are planning a graduation ceremony at SC High School outside for both SCMS 8th grade graduates and SCHS senior graduates on Friday, June 26th. The times will be SCMS 6pm and SCHS 7pm. We want each graduation to last approximately 30-40 minutes, which is the usual timeframe.
All social distancing and COVID 19 guidelines will be followed. More information will be given as all plans become finalized.
This plan could change, we are making our best effort at this time to make this a memorable and traditional graduation.

Graduation Updates
Governor's Order 4/17/20
We will be using 4/9/20, 4/10/20, and 4/13 as remote learning days instead of non school days. This allows us to take off the 3 days at the end off the calendar. It would make the last day the original 21st, not the 24th. Lessons do not necessarily need to be done on Good Friday.
Letter to Families/Staff
Gov. J.B. Pritzker has now extended his stay-at-home order and school closures through April 30 as part of the state’s effort to slow the spread of the new coronavirus, Any school events or activities scheduled will be cancelled during this time.

We are coordinating and planning with both the Marion and Fayette County Health Deparment and Emergency Management regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus). Currently there are no positive cases of CIVD-19 in either county.
SCMS Vocational Day 2020
On Friday the students were all given the opportunity to experience a vocation of their choice. The day was a huge success! We can’t thank our volunteers enough for donating their time, knowledge, as well as materials to this day!
