SCHS Cougars Fall Baseball Info for anyone interested in playing. Practice will be on Aug. 10 at Lions Field in Kinmundy. Practice times are as follows: Freshman: 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Everyone else 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Everyone must have a current physical in order to practice.
SCMS Softball & Baseball Information:
Softball will start practice Wednesday 8/5 3-5pm at Webster field. Parent meeting will follow practice on Wednesday night.
Baseball will start practice Wednesday 8/5 4-6pm at the Farina Park field. There will be a parent meeting Friday night at 6pm after practice.
Each kid needs an up to date physical in able to practice.

The Regional Office of Education #13 Preschool for All program at South Central invites children who will be 3 years old on or before September 1, 2020 to sign up for a Fall Preschool screening for possible enrollment! Please contact Morgan Ice at mice@roe13.org to receive an online screening questionnaire or if you have any questions. An in person screening through KSED will take place at a later date.
Preschool morning and afternoon classes will attend school on an AB schedule. Half of the class on Monday/Wednesday and the other half on Tuesday/Thursday with Friday’s remote learning. Complete remote learning options are available for families that request them. Any child enrolled completely remote will still be enrolled in the PFA program and will be guaranteed a physical spot in the classroom if and when families choose to do so. We look forward to hearing from you!

What: Grocery Assistance through P-EBT
Who?: ALL students of South Central CUSD #401 regardless of income *
When: Deadline to apply is June 30, 2020
How: Online at ABE.illinois.gov
Why: All students who would receive free meals at school are eligible for the benefit. Since South Central receives a CEP Grant in order to provide free breakfast and lunch to ALL students when school is in session, that means ALL students are eligible for the benefit.

REMINDER- Puffin orders are in and pickup is scheduled for today from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the high school on the west side of the building by the cafeteria. It will be a drive thru style pickup. Thank you
